bbb Korea held the Partnership Agreement with Yeongdeungpo-Gu Government(District Chairman 
Hyung-su Kim) at the seminar room of Yeongdeungpo-gu Office at 4:30 pm on July 10th, 2009. 
This was the first partnership agreement for bbb Korea with a local government organization. 
Chairman Hyung-su Kim said “We suggested this cooperation in order to provide higher quality 
services for foreigners as well as Koreans, to assist in making Yeouido as an international 
financial center, and to support multi-culture families.” President Jae-hoon Lee said 
“Even as we have been promoting international tourism industry in line with rapidly globalizing
world, there still are many foreigners with language barrier problems in Korea. However, this 
problem is gradually being alleviated through endeavors of bbb volunteers. 
We ask Yeongdeungpo-gu government to actively utilize our interpretation service when working with 
foreigners.” Based on this agreement, bbb Korea and Yeongdeungpo-gu have agreed to cooperate on 
various foreigners-related businesses.
