Call from : A taxi driver in Itaewon Shopping Area, Yongsan
Details : The taxi driver took a foreign tourist to a hotel in the Itaewon Shopping area
but the tourist didn``t want to check in the hotel as the hotel charge, 90,000.-,was too expensive he wanted to take him to the cheaper hotel/motel or an inn.
The tourist also wanted such lodging house, either motel or inn, located near to the restaurant serving Hindu food/
As the taxi driver doesn``t know such model or inn. where it is, I recommended him to
take the foreigner to downtown, Buchang-dong area located behind Hotel Plaza as I``ve seen small inn/motels there as the tourist agreed to go there.
The taxi driver understood and our phone talking was over.
That``s all for today. It was my pleasure to have such volunteer service this morning and
I``m very grateful to the bbb ``control tower`` for providing me with such service chance today.
I``ll keep on trying my best to answer the phone from 1588-5644 asap.

11월 9일 일요일 아침, 이태원 쇼핑센터에서 택시기사로부터 통역요청 전화가 왔습니다. 기사님이 외국인관광객을 이태원 쇼핑센터의 한 호텔로 태워드렸는데 관광객은 숙박비(9만원)가 너무 비싸 체크인을 원하지 않는다고 했습니다. 관광객은 기사님에게 힌두음식을 파는 식당 근처에 있는 좀 더 싼 호텔, 모텔 혹은 여관에 데려다달라고 했습니다.
택시 기사분은 그런 모텔이나 여관은 모른다고 하셔서 호텔플라자 뒤쪽 북창동 시내쪽에 그런 작은 여관과 모텔을 본 적이 있으니 관광객을 모시고 가라고 추천해주었습니다. 통역 내용은 이상입니다.
오늘도 이런 봉사의 기회를 갖게되어 참으로 기쁘고, 이 기회를 제공해준 bbb 사무국에도 감사의 말을 전합니다.
