A service guy in an authorized iPhone service center requested interpretation. After visual inspection, he decided the mulfunction of the foreign customer's iPhone fell to liquid damage, for which Apple allowes only refurbishment service charging about 450,000won. The foreign customer wanted to use his Apple Care Plus warranty that he bought back in the US, but the service guy said Apple Care Plus is not applicable in Korea by Apple policy. After all, the foreign customer didn't want to pay the service cost but just wanted his phone back.
